Diamond Exchange Scarf – pattern

The time had come to put a personal pattern online. The Diamond Exchange Scarf is a personal fave for many years and I was lucky enough to know a few crocheters who were willing to test it for me. I used sock weight yarn, because that’s my favorite. They seemed to enjoy the pattern and the results – what a wonderful feeling. Big smiles. 😀

I really do love making this pattern over and over, so I think scarves for Christmas gifts in 2010 is a definite possibility. I had bought some very soft cashmere on eBay and I currently stash a ton of Koigu, so I played with the colors and found myself in love with this one. I will keep it for my own use, but I may make another similar for my sister, because she likes the knitted and crocheted stuff quite a bit – who knew?

And how about a little math to make a pillow for my sewing spot?

A resounding “YES” and sew it was done.

  1. That makes me so happy to hear that! I use it a lot too, usually for winter gifts.

  2. I bought this pattern at least 5 years ago and continue to use it often. It’s great fun and saves lots of time because I don’t have to work in all the ends. Thanks Michelle! I just gave the link to another friend who will surely buy her own copy.
