Deep Red Shawl

This shawl is made of yarns given to me by friends. It’s nice when gifted yarn yields something so special – I really love it.

The body yarn is Alisha Goes Around Tracks of Bison Fingering (2 skeins) and the edging was Fiber Optic Yarns Merino/Silk Lace Weight @ 1/3 of a skein.

I totally goofed and ran out of yarn right before the edging, so I was on the hunt for something to finish this with for a while. It’s truly a happy accident.

The pattern is Over the Clouds, by EclatDuSoleil with a US F hook for the body and a US E hook for the laceweight edging.

  1. Thank you! Both yarns were gifts and I was very lucky to get them. 🙂
