The Tiny Workshop – Part 2

Delivery day for the tiny workshop was yesterday and now it’s supposed to rain for quite a while. But there’s so much I want to do and I’m not a patient person. I want to be, but I’m just not.

The shed company that worked with my ideas was The Shed Depot of North Carolina, located in Sanford, NC. You can create your design on their website, and then call Tyler and he’ll help you with questions or to customize it further. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with them.

During small breaks in the weather a few things were mounted on the exterior, but the focus has been inside mostly and since the door opens in – I was able to paint that.

When I see 2 small-ish hanging plants I like, I’ll add those on the bird hooks. Something that likes shade should be fine. GOSH – I LOVE THESE HOOKS! They came brown, but now they’re black.

Since I have some ortho issues, the husband was nice enough to get on the unstable ladder and mount the hooks and the door knocker. He’s very kind that way. I’m lucky for sure. This lion was my 2nd purchase on eBay. Don’t ask about the first (BOY, did I learn a lesson about cheap auctions and outrageous shipping prices!). He was on my front door in Florida, denting it severely in only a week’s time and he was removed. That was in 2000. I really wanted to use him – anywhere – so here he is. I’m so happy he’s no longer packed away.

The fairies sign was purchased from Touch of Joy Designs on Etsy – I just LOVE it!

Bring on the weekend! (Hope the weather improves.)
