Pupper is 11, but she’s been making a bit of puppy mischief lately. In the last few weeks, she’s chewed the ends off shoe laces, made a hole in the center of an afghan and nibbled on this throw pillow edging.
Using an old plain, but very soft, cream sweater from Old Navy that had an outstretched neck, I sewed a cover for this old pillow on 3 sides. After sewing on the buttons, snipped buttonholes were made, then reinforced with trusty old whip stitching.
I love the new look, maybe she did me a favor. I tried to give her a talking to, but she wasn’t having it.
I’m sure I’ll do this again sometime. Fun and easy!
