Joann fabrics had doorbusters and this jumbo yarn on sale 3 for $20. They’re @1,000 yds each. Before you poo-poo this yarn, hear me out.
It’s perfect for something I needed – a small washable rug for winter. My feet have been cold on the bare floor when I sit at my table.
Pulling from the center + outside of each of the two skeins, I held 4 strands together crocheting a basic circle in double crochet for 16 rows. Following the standard increasing at first then just increasing when it felt tight. I edged with slip stitching to help hold the shape. I was too close to running out, but made it. I gave away the 3rd skein.
It’s the perfect size and no one will trip over it, since it’s a bit smaller than the table top.
Time for tea and pattern browsing!
