It's easier for me to commit to printing, painting and some minis than knitting right now with all my aches and pains, so this is a Christmas ornament for a friend. She received it today, so I can post a photo. It's just a painted cabinet from a craft store and I printed some tiny… Continue reading Tiny Christmas Ornament

Some miniature afghans
I'm truly in love with squares, especially the grannies. They bring back tons of memories of the 70's and crocheting growing up. This tiny afghan was what I was working on when my eyes crapped out. When I get used to reading glasses I will finish it. This one was finished a long time again,… Continue reading Some miniature afghans
Ireland in the summer
We just returned from a bus tour and family visit in Ireland. People ask where we went, and it's more like, where didn't we go? First there was some gift making for the family we would visit... Hats and cowls for the adults: Hackey Sacks for the kiddies: Then we parted on a short flight… Continue reading Ireland in the summer
My favorite pin to wear to dollhouse miniature shows. :)
This is a crochet/knitting basket pin I like to wear when I go to the dollhouse shows and stuff. It's a collection of small pieces in a basket woven out of paper. It has a crochet hook, thread skeins, embroidery floss, books, scissors, a tape measure, leaflets and a baby hat.
Taking a Miniature Lunch Break
Sometimes, if it's cool enough outside, I take my lunch break in my car under the beautiful trees in the office park where I work. Very relaxing. Headphones, thread and a tiny crochet hook. Ahhh...
Miniature Diamond Exchange Scarf
Made this for one of the mannequins in a miniature LYS I've been making. It's been on hold though for a long time. So many tiny yarn skeins are needed to stock the shelves, but that's another story. Eventually... The shawl pin is 3/8” and the scarf is crocheted with a .4mm crochet hook and… Continue reading Miniature Diamond Exchange Scarf
Miniature Sweater
I can't throw away scraps of handpainted yarns, so they'll be tiny sweaters in my Dollhouse Little Yarn Shop I'm working on. My little yarn shop is really sweet. Jack made it for me when I was recovering from a major surgery. He's kinda nice like that.
Just a little Housewarming Gift…
A friend of mine decided to enter the world of miniatures so I wanted to welcome her to my "little neighborhood" by making her a living room set. She was nice enough to pick out the fabric for me, so I wouldn't have to guess. Then I crocheted a tiny pillow for it, just to… Continue reading Just a little Housewarming Gift…
Just a little chilly…
I decided to make a tiny shawl for one of my dollhouse dolls. Here are a few pictures just for fun.
Ridiculous levels of Mini-Dom
Something about making something small just seems whimsical and full of magic. Well once it's done maybe, but when I cast on this tiny sweater and was staring at "porcupine quills" that were the size 0 dpns jumping all around, I was nervous. Since I've always enjoyed taking crafts down to in size, I was… Continue reading Ridiculous levels of Mini-Dom
