Love, love, love this yarn Berroco Folio in the colorway Cushing. The softness made it hard to put down once started. The pattern was in Interweave Crochet, Winter 2008. Beginning at one side until I used 1/2 the yarn, then with the remaining yarn, joined back on the starting edge to complete the other side, so I would have matching finished edges and finally added a picot edge to both ends. The pin is from local second hand shop.
Years ago I bought a gray winter coat thinking it could be a blank canvas for any colorful accessories I could come up with and this scarf will be great with it.
A friend at work asked for baby booties for her expectant friend, so we settled on this cute pattern and she just loved them. The yarn is Berroco Vintage, buttery soft and washable. I love this yarn. The buttons are just some leftover bridal buttons to dress them up a little bit. Farewell tiny shoes!
I landed a very nice new job, down the road and perfect hours. I know I’m a lucky duck with this crummy economy, so I’m very thankful. It was a lengthy hiring process though, so I worked on this sweater while I did everything they asked me to. I really like it and it’s not very heavy. This photo is before blocking.
