A pattern test for Medvssa on Ravelry. The wool is light weight, so the stitch pattern creates a dense fabric, yet they’re not cumbersome to wear. Made with Madelinetosh Merino Light, in olivra & byzantine. Love the colors and they go with NOTHING I own – don’t care.
I finished the Camp Loopy challenge II and since I knit the hat for practice, the mitts knit up in no time. I hope I get to wear them, even if just once, this winter. Last winter we had a few REALLY cold days and nights. Would have been nice to have them then, so this year – I’m ready.
Camp Loopy continues and we’re about to start Project #2.
My yarn arrived today and my receipt says my Trail Guide is Larry. Hope he’s a nice guy because I’m not much of a hiker. The Hiya-Hiyas are from MissBabs ebay shop and I love to check there first before buying my needles. She seems to have the best selection.
Project #2 – Wood Hollow Mittens
Cast on date is July 15th! Love this yarn. It’s such a richly dyed green.
