Wollmeise collecting

I’ll call it ‘collecting’ because I have a plan for it and I keep it neat. Since the vendor will only let you buy one skein in any color at a time, and it sells out in minutes (flying right out of your online shopping cart and all) it’s taking me a while to get some of the colors I need. For the work it takes to get it, it’s a little hard to spend it on a project.

Fiber gifts, oh the joy!

My goodness!! He’s awesome for knowing when I need a little something to cheer me up. The job hunting has been exhausting. Interviews, tests, customizing cover letters…. So I browse the LoopyEwe and check out all the new merchandise to just decompress a bit and he takes out his wallet and says, “Here. Treat yourself.” and I swoon – for both him AND the squooshy goodness filling my cart almost instantly. Within 3 days, it was here. It’s all delicious. Thank you Mr. Awesome!!

Wollmeise colors are divine

I just can’t help it. When someone says, “Wollmeise.” I say, “Yes, please.”

This stuff has colors I’ve never seen anywhere. I don’t know how people are able to part with it from their own stash, but they do. I’ve seen them list it as a yarn they’ll trade or sell. Nope. Can’t fathom it. I find it hard to even “spend it” on a project.

I just want to keep it, pristine and looking just like this:
